There are few things more civilized than champagne and good company on the water. A private champagne cruise aboard Dream Boat NY combines the glittering Manhattan skyline, an expertly curated open bar, and an artisanal charcuterie spread — all on an intimate private yacht exclusively for your group of 2 to 6 guests.

No crowded tour boats. No waiting in line for the bar. Just your people, premium bubbles, and one of the most spectacular urban backdrops on earth.

What’s Included in the Champagne & Appetizers Experience

The All-Inclusive Champagne & Appetizers package is exactly what it sounds like: a full open bar paired with an artisanal charcuterie board, served aboard your private yacht while New York City unfolds around you.

All-Inclusive Champagne & Appetizers — $65 per adult

The Charcuterie Board A beautifully composed board of select cured meats and premium cheeses, accompanied by fresh grapes, marinated olives, and crackers — presented on solid wood trays and platters. It’s the kind of spread you’d find at a private dinner party, served aboard your yacht while the Hudson River shimmers outside.

The Open Bar

  • Chandon Brut Cuvée
  • Whispering Angel Rosé
  • High Noon Hard Seltzer
  • Rainstorm Pinot Gris
  • Seasonal Beer
  • Non-Alcoholic Soda & Seltzer

This is a true open bar — no drink tickets, no cutting off after one glass. The open bar flows for the duration of your cruise, managed seamlessly by the crew from the yacht’s kitchenette.

Your Private Yacht
The Setting Makes Everything Better

Champagne tastes better on the water, in the open air, under an open sky. Context transforms experience, and there’s no better context than a private yacht cutting through New York Harbor with the Statue of Liberty ahead and the Manhattan skyline behind you.

Outdoor Teak Deck Step aboard onto an all-wood teak deck designed for exactly this: conversation, celebration, and taking it all in. The U-shaped seating configuration creates a welcoming, intimate atmosphere — everyone faces each other, no one is craning their neck, and the layout naturally draws people together. This is NYC’s only convertible yacht on the water, with a retractable canopy giving your group the choice of full sun or full shade.

360-Degree Views Without Obstructions Move freely between the outdoor deck and the enclosed cabin throughout the cruise. No columns. No crowds blocking your sightline. No jostling for the best spot on a packed tour boat. From every position, the views are unobstructed — the skyline, the harbor, the bridges, the waterfront neighborhoods gliding past.

Indoor Wood-Paneled Cabin Lounge When the group moves inside, they find a wood-paneled interior cabin with a half-circle of deep-cushioned white upholstery and table seating for six. It’s an elegant, nautical setting — ideal for lingering over champagne, presenting the charcuterie board, and having the kind of unhurried conversations that only happen when you’re away from the noise of the city. The cabin is fully enclosed, providing excellent shelter from the elements.

The Kitchenette Small and stylish — think vintage Manhattan apartment — the kitchenette allows the crew to provide seamless food and beverage service throughout the cruise. The open bar runs continuously without interruption to the experience.

Modern Bathroom The yacht includes a modern bathroom with personal cloth hand towels. Yes, that detail matters on a 2–4 hour cruise.

Bluetooth Sound System Connect your own playlist and set the mood. Whether the group wants Sinatra over the harbor or a Spotify playlist for a birthday celebration, the sound system handles it.

Everything in the Base Charter is Included: Your exclusive private boat · Professional USCG-certified captain · All Chelsea Piers docking and boarding fees · Fuel · Complete route planning · Complimentary bottled water for all guests · Photo opportunities at iconic landmarks throughout the cruise

The Route

NYC’s Most Spectacular Sightseeing, with Champagne

A champagne cruise pairs naturally with sightseeing. As the charcuterie board makes its rounds and glasses are refilled, the captain navigates to the landmarks that make New York Harbor one of the most dramatic waterscapes in the world.

What You’ll See

Departing from Chelsea Piers, the yacht glides south into the Hudson River — past the historic neighborhoods of Greenwich Village, Tribeca, and the Financial District — before opening up into New York Harbor. Here, the Statue of Liberty comes into view in a way that simply cannot be replicated from land or a crowded tour ferry. Your captain positions the yacht for the best angles, shares the history of Lady Liberty and Ellis Island, and gives your group the time to take it in properly.

Depending on your chosen duration, the cruise can extend north along the Hudson past Midtown and Hudson Yards, east through the iconic bridges of the East River — Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, Williamsburg Bridge — or deeper into the harbor for sweeping views of Governors Island and the outer bay.

Your captain adjusts the route based on your preferences, the timing of the light, and where the best views will be throughout your cruise. The itinerary is yours to shape.

Perfect Occasions for a Private Champagne Cruise

The combination of a private yacht, an open bar, and an artisanal food spread turns any occasion into an event worth remembering.

Romantic Celebrations There’s a reason champagne cruises are the most requested experience for proposals, anniversaries, and romantic date nights. The combination of privacy, the Manhattan skyline, and a glass of Chandon in hand creates a setting that’s hard to engineer any other way. Guests considering a marriage proposal will find the Surprise Proposal Package — with a privately decorated cabin — particularly well-suited to the occasion.

Birthday Celebrations A private champagne cruise for a birthday is the kind of experience that gets talked about for years. With up to 6 guests aboard, it’s ideal for a close group of friends celebrating together. Add the Birthday Party Package for a complete celebration setup.

Bachelorette & Bachelor Parties Skip the bars and give the group something no one else in the bridal party will ever forget. The yacht is private, the champagne is flowing, and the backdrop is the New York skyline. See the Bachelorette Party Boat and Bachelor Party Boat pages for more.

Anniversaries Celebrate the milestone properly. A private champagne cruise for two — or with another couple — is an elegant, intimate alternative to a restaurant anniversary dinner, and considerably more scenic.

Corporate Entertaining Impressing clients or celebrating a team’s accomplishments? A private yacht charter for 2–6 executives delivers the kind of experience that a restaurant simply cannot. See Corporate Yacht Charter for more.

Sunset Champagne Cruise

A champagne cruise at any time is a pleasure. A champagne cruise timed to the sunset is something else entirely.

As the sun descends and the sky shifts from gold to amber to rose, the entire harbor is bathed in what photographers call the golden hour. Champagne, charcuterie, and the skyline glowing across the water — it’s one of those evenings that becomes a permanent memory.

The online booking calendar indicates departure times that align with sunset timing throughout the season. Select a departure time marked as “sunset” to catch the golden hour.

See the full Sunset Cruise NYC experience page for more about sunset timing and what to expect.

What to Expect — From Booking to Boarding

Booking Check availability through the online booking calendar or call the concierge team at 917-399-9084. The team is available to help with catering selection, special requests, route preferences, and any logistics for your group.

Before Your Cruise A valid government-issued photo ID matching the credit card used for booking is required for boarding. This is a federal requirement — without it, passengers cannot board, and no refund or rescheduling is issued.

Cancellation Policy Options

  • Standard: Reservations are non-refundable. Weather rescheduling is complimentary.

Alcohol Policy Per NYS Liquor Authority and USCG requirements, the captain is authorized to limit alcohol service and return to the dock if any passenger becomes unsafe due to alcohol consumption.

Maximum Capacity 6 passengers per USCG federal licensing regulations. No exceptions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the champagne cruise truly private — just my group? Yes. The yacht is exclusively yours for the duration of the charter. There are no other guests, no strangers, and no shared space with other groups. This is a private yacht, not a tour boat.

How many people can join the champagne cruise? 2 to 6 guests. USCG regulations set a hard limit of 6 passengers per charter.

Is the open bar really unlimited? The All-Inclusive Champagne & Appetizers package includes a full open bar for the duration of the cruise — Chandon Brut Cuvée, Whispering Angel Rosé, High Noon Hard Seltzer, Pinot Gris, beer, and non-alcoholic soda and seltzer. Please drink responsibly.

Can I upgrade the champagne? Yes. The beverage menu includes Veuve Clicquot, Moët & Chandon, and Dom Pérignon available for additional purchase. A non-alcoholic sparkling wine (Mionetto) is also available for guests who prefer it.

Can I add food beyond the charcuterie? Absolutely. The full catering menu is available — shrimp cocktail, cheese boards, Mediterranean boards, crudités, seasonal fruit, and desserts including birthday cakes.

Where do we depart? Chelsea Piers Marina, Pier 59. Parking is available on-site at Chelsea Piers (paid parking). The location is easily accessible by taxi, car service, or public transit.

What if it rains? If it rains, rescheduling is complimentary — select any available charter of equal or lesser value within the same calendar year. See the full Policies page for complete weather policy details.

Can children join? Children are welcome aboard. With the All-Inclusive Champagne & Appetizer package, anyone under age 21 receive complimentary sodas and seltzer, and appetizer servings are prepared for all guests regardless of age.

How far in advance should I book? Sunset departures and weekend dates during peak season (mid-May through mid-September) book quickly. For those dates, 2–4 weeks ahead is recommended. Shoulder season often has better availability on shorter notice. Last-minute bookings are sometimes possible — call 917-399-9084 to check.
